Flea Market Find!

Look what I found at the flea market today!  Isn't he cute!  Made of metal, his name on his collar is Little Spike.

I had found this metal cat sculpture a couple of years ago....

So now they can be friends....I love the flea market!

Mushroom mosaic ....

Only had time to lay out a possible plan for my oyster shell mosaic, but I think it's going to look great! :)   In between I could plant moss or thyme...but could I get it to grow?  

That is the question.....

Mushroom mosaic?

I have a big mushroom in front of our cottage, that I had hoped would grow flowers and moss, but my thumb is purple not green and I can't get anything to grow on this mushroom....so I tried plastic plants.  Yes I did!

Well, that doesn't work for me either...so as we were enjoying yummy barbequed oysters at a family gathering, I had a great vision...

A mosaic of oyster shells covering the mushroom cap.  So now I have a bucket of yucky oyster shells waiting to be cleaned and a large project in front of me waiting to be birthed.  

I guess I know what my weekend will be about.

Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona was certainly all we wished for....my prince and I.

I often offer up a saying to friends who are considering certain actions in their life...."be careful of the door that you open, because before you know it, you are in the room".  We all know what it is like to be sucked into situations that are not for our greater good, just because we didn't listen to our intuition and we got involved in something or someone that shouldn't have claimed our attention.  And often, we open a door and step into a new experience that provides knowledge, excitement and 

personal growth.  I believe I have opened such a door.....and Canyon Ranch provided the key.  I am fascinated by alternative and complementary modalities of healing.  Healing Touch, Reiki, Matrix Energetics and there are many many more. I have had several personal experiences with these energetics and later this month will be going to a training in Matrix Energetics and then in June I will begin studying Reiki.  Off to see the wizard and who knows where she will lead me.  What fun a new adventure is!

I am in Tucson, Arizona at a place called Canyon Ranch.

I'm here with my prince who is having his heart checked out.

What a fabulous place.  It is a beautiful marriage of the best of western medicine and the latest of proven alternative healing methods.  I'm in Heaven!
