Rancho la Puerta

I'm off to Rancho la Puerta, a health ranch in Tecate, Mexico, early tomorrow morning.  I have been there once before, a couple of years ago and I remember that I loved it so much.  A week to myself...a week of eating healthy...walking...doing yoga daily.....ah...Heaven!   I'm going to bring my computer so I hope to post photos as I know I will want to share the beauty there.
This is what one writer who came to the ranch had to say about it:

"In the end, it is the totality of the Ranch that continues to amaze and inspire me.
When I spend a week at the Ranch, I have an actual body-mind experience of health, energy, balance, and rest; these words, so glibly used in the spa world take on tangible, visceral meaning.  Whenever I visit the Ranch I come face to face with who I am, right now, physically, mentally and spiritually.  From that grounding, I can go on."

I vaguely remember feeling exactly that way, when I was there last time....and now I am so far from it.  I'm tired, sluggish, no energy, addicted to sugar, puffy, and all in all very ready for the inspiration that this place offers.

How wonderful for you to be able to be pampered. I will be thinking about you at the Ranch...I looked at their site...it looks heavenly.
Katrin and I were talking today about where to go in the spring...art retreat or a spa ?
