From Provence we drove to Martiel, France in the Auvergne department. It's about a 4.5 hour drive from Oppede in Provence...if you don't get lost along the way...which always seems to happen.
Martiel is a tiny hamlet....quaint and wonderful. We are staying in a B&B here.

| We started our day at a vide grenier...which means..."to clean out your attic". Wonderful treasures to discover and great prices. |

| Then we went on to Saint Antonin Noble Val one of the "beautiful villages of France" |

| It was their "market day" and the shopping was wonderful...from cheese to olives to clothing to baskets....abundance! |

| and a picnic by the river....cheese, bread, tomatoes, salami, and raspberries.Tomorrow, the caverns..... |
