In search of sunshine.....

In search of sunshine, we headed 2 hours to the Colliqure on the Mediterranin Sea.
Here it is still summer.  The air is warm and soft and the colors are so vivid.
This is a painter's town.   Matisse and others where inspired by this town.
I am inspired too.....

Hay Marilyn , i was living there before , not just in Collioure but in the mountains ... Incredible , i did live this part of France and moved just this summer , now i am in the center but i want to move another time in the south ... You did a picture of the street " de la fraternité " where many painters are ... here , they have got difficulties to sell their art ... it is not really easy and most of my friends did live this part of France , during the winter there is nobody, no soul, nothing, i will send you pictures of the sea where i was for the summer between Banuyls and Cerbere near Spain , you will see how beautiful the sea is ok ?
