Magical connections....

Just wanted to share a posting of my art on a blog.
The blog  "Tongue in Cheek"  is one that I have followed for years.  Corey is a woman who was raised in California, met a French man, and moved to France 25 years ago.  To say that she has a gift for writing is an understatement.   I love reading her blog.

When I first discovered her blog, France was something that was far out of my reach of making a reality….but somehow, her writing and sharing slowly and gently opened the doors for that far off vision to become a reality.
I just returned from my 4th trip to France.

Last year she decided to randomly choose 7 people and open her home to each of them…and a friend…to come and stay with her in the south of France, for a week.  I was one who was chosen!
It didn't work out for me to stay with her this trip, but as fate would have it, Corey was in Paris when I was, and we did meet for a wonderful lunch and dinner and I got to visit her apartment that she is renovating in Paris.  She shares a new artist each Saturday on her blog and at our lunch she asked if she could share my art.  And so…today she did.

 I love serendipity !
".... the consequence of serendipity is sometimes a brilliant discovery: (happy) chance, (happy) accident, fluke; luck, good luck, good fortune, fortuity, providence; happy coincidence."

All those years ago, discovering Corey's blog, and reading it daily.....traveling to France in my mind, created threads that connected us.....and when we met, in France, it was like we had always known each other.  Serendipity.
The magic of Life.

Thank you Marilyn! The feeling of kindred spirit and friendship is mutual.
To think our meeting, saved my apartment from burning down!
I look forward to when you come back to France, you will have two places to stay!
