The production continues......

Every day the girls get into their costumes......made up of my old fabrics....silk velvets, laces, chiffon scarves, beads and shells gathered from my art room....and they go off with Aidan leading, into the banyan forest or onto the beach for the filming of her movie "Nixies".
She has realized that she won't get the film edited and ready for showing before they all leave here, so tonite the girls are all getting dressed up in fancy dresses for a "red carpet" walk and a preview of the movie.  We have made cupcakes and jiggily jello pieces and it will be an affair to remember.  Now I'm off to find something that will become the red carpet.

What I have to say is they have a wonderful grandmother... in you... you always bring out the magic is whoever it is that comes to visit and your granddaughters are blessed... as you are

What gorgeous and magical pictures you've shared of late. Is there anything more magical and enchanting than the art, creativeness, and imagination of children?

what fabulous pictures!!! their costumes are so delicate and lovely ... and they seem so INTENT on what they're doing.

I used to gather the neighborhood kids to put on shows in the back garden when I was six or seven. My parents were very supportive. UNTIL we were doing "Alice in Wonderland" and I took a lovely Queen Anne pedestal table and painted it up like a mushroom so the caterpillar could sit on it. My mother was not happy.

No more home productions at our house!

Wish there was a way to watch the film with you - be sure to take good notes LOL!

Beautiful pictures, beautiful girls. You certainly do have a way of guiding others towards magic. Fantastic!! I'm sure they will remember these moments and carry them with them, always!

Thank you for sharing!

Big hugs,
Sprite
