Before France, dreams of Hawaii

I've got my suitcase open and I'm filling it with what I will take to France, but meanwhile, I've been in the studio creating one of the projects for the Hawaiian Retreat.   It's turned out really well and I'm excited about teaching this creation.....just one of several we will do.

Today I must call Pahia, my Kahuna friend to talk to her about what we shall plan for this week of magick.  Gail Lackey and I plan to incorporate some of the healing modalities that we have learned in our "whizard" adventures.  Reiki....Pranic Healing....and so much more.

I love the energy as it builds and comes together and then on Nov. 1st we meet our family for a week of pure heaven.

There are a couple of places left in this retreat.  Can you join us?  Email me for information:

Where did the summer go??

Busy days......granchildren....river trips....right now I'm in the airport waiting for my flight back from a Level 3 Matrix Energetics seminar....The Whizards Class!   Such fun.  I love this energy work!

In between the comings and goings, Ienjoyed a commission of creating two fun paintings, which I'm sharing with you all.....

and in two weeks.....OH LA LA
I'm off to France for a month!!!  WOW!!!   I'm so excited that I have to keep pinching myself.
I arranged to trade our home in Hawaii for a 350 year old house in a small village south of Toulouse.  From there we will take side trips into the Provence area.

Bon jour!!! Tout Droit.....and look for comments from the road......

New classes offered online!

I'm happy to announce that I have two new classes offered at

The first class is a really fun, simple and inexpensive class ( $20 ) to creative
Magical Spirit Lights.   These are battery tea light candles embellished to look fabulous anywhere they're placed.  I just can't stop creating these!
They are now all over my house and I give them as gifts to everyone.
Inexpensive and really really fun!  And if you want to create something, but don't have the time to get involved in big project, this is perfect.  In way less than an hour, it's done!
Once you learn the technique, the skies the limit as to what you can do with these.
Both of these new classes are ready to be downloaded now at  http://www.thatcreativeplace.com

The second class is more involved and actually includes the lesson in how to create a magical spirit light ( although the design of the candle is different than the three designs shown in the MSL class )

This Bluebird represents a quality and an intention.

The blue bird, of course, represents happiness.....the face of a woman represents

the quality of a shapeshifting....a metamorphosis.

The mythology of the bluebird of happiness has deep roots that go back

thousands of years. Indigenous cultures across the globe hold similar myths and

beliefs about the bluebird. It is a widely accepted symbol of cheerfulness,

happiness, prosperity, hearth and home, good health, new births, the renewal of

springtime, etc.

Shapeshifting is a common theme in mythology and folklore, as well as

in science fiction and fantasy. In its broadest sense, it is

a metamorphosis (change in the physical form or shape) of a person or animal.

Shapeshifting involves physical changes such as alterations

of age, gender, race, or general appearance or changes between human form

and that of an animal (therianthropy), plant, or inanimate object.

Come and join me!  At That Creative Place, we have a forum that you can log onto where we can chat, ask questions, share information and post photos.  It's like creating with a friend, in the comfort of your own home, at your own time.  I really love this venue.  I know when I am creating, I just want to share my inspiration and excitement and this allows you to do so, in a very simple and instant manner.  Isn't the internet so amazing!!

My Shadow finds Puget Sound, Washington

Lucky us!   We are staying in a little cabin, in a little cove, in Puget Sound, Washington.
It was built in the 1930's and is nestled in the woods, right on the sound.
